Simple to use and works! I was hesitant, like many, to switch my DNS to some company I never used before. But after massive DDoS attacks over three days I had no choice. After setting my Cloudflare account to ``Under Attack`` the DDoS attacks were thwarted. I lost a lot of traffic, probably having to do with the temporary intermediate screen that CloudFlare throws up when Under Attack, but hopefully they will return. It`s all pretty magical, and I have to explore more of the website`s tools, but the caching alone has saved GBs of bandwidth.
Stay away from Cloudflare! Their support is non-existent. I signed up with them to stop DDoS and they did much more harm to my site than the hackers ever could! I was down for days. A total disaster and a waste of time.

I would like to record how pleased I am that I selected Cloudflare. I do not often need to call on support, but when I do I always get answers quickly and they are always helpful and polite and get the problems solved.
I believe that good support is absolutely fundamental to good web hosting, and it is one of the reasons I recommend Cloudflare to all my friends. Thanks again
CloudFlare is providing SSL certificates that are valid for root domains and first-level subdomains at no charge to customers. These certificates are sourced from a number of third-party certificate authorities. CloudFlare was able to obtain these certificates at low cost thanks to a contra-deal involving the supply of content delivery services to its CA partners.
CloudFlare has offered free and easy SSL encryption to all of their customers, after Google announced that secure websites will be ranked higher in listings. Google decision to consider SSL encryption a ranking signal plus CloudFlares efforts to secure the web are noble.
According to company estimates, only 2 million websites are SSL encrypted. As of today, however, the company encrypted two million more, essentially doubling the size of the encrypted web.
